Trick or Treat 2013!

I can't believe October is already over. We had such a fun month and sad to see it go by so fast, but looking forward to a new adventure in November!

Baby #2 is growing and kicking around each day. Not much to update for her, which is a good thing. She is almost 28 weeks so only 12 weeks to go (and yes I am counting down)

After our family trip to the pumpkin patch, Ryleigh had a daycare field trip to another pumpkin patch. We rode the train out to the pumpkins and then they had a boat take us back. In the middle of the little lake they had a lockness monster pop up out of the water! All the kids had such a good time!

For Halloween, Ryleigh dressed up as a mermaid and we went trick or treating to a few houses in the neighborhood. We lucked out and did not have any rain. Ryleigh did so good and said 'trick or treat" and "thank you" at each house. Her Daddy trained her to pick all the good candy.

Also, Ryleigh had her first dentist appointment. She did so good and let the dentist check out all her teeth. At the end she even got to pick out a toy. She chose a kitty cat :)

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the Plumper Farms pumpkin patch today as a family and had such a fun morning. The chilly fog started to clear and not a rain drop in site made this a perfect day for a family outing. Next week, we will get to go to a different pumpkin patch for a field trip at Ryleigh's daycare.

This was not just any ordinary pumpkin patch this one had 40ft slide, farm animals, pony rides and barrel rides. Ryleigh is such a dare devil and she had to try all of it. She even picked out her very own pumpkin. They had a large bin of tiny pumpkins, but Ryleigh didn't want anything to do with those. Maybe the next size up would be good, NOPE. Finally, she picked one that weighs almost as much as she does.

Outside Fun!

Just having fun outside! Most likely this is the last sunny day of the year so we spent a little time outside. Ryleigh loves playing outside.

We are at 24 weeks with baby #2. Everything seems to be moving along like just fine. I have been feeling a lot of  movement, which is probably one of the only fun things about being pregnant.

We have Ryleigh signed up for swim classes every week. It is indoors, but the water is still pretty cold. She really loves the water.

Ryleigh's favorite animals right now are Monkeys, Owls and kitty cats. She loves shirts and socks with animals on them.

We are still working on setting up the nursery for #2. It is a slow process this time around, but we are getting there.

Fun Times and a trip to the circus!

Well, Momma is 21 weeks pregnant with little girl #2 and feeling good (other than the usual growing pains) The doctors are keeping a close eye on me to be sure that we don't have another preemie. I go in for weekly shots to reduce the risks of preterm labor, which is a major pain! We have tried explaining to Ryleigh that she is going to have a baby sister, but we are not sure she really understands.

Ryleigh is now sleeping in her big girl bed. She really loves all the animals on her comforter. We also went to her first Circus show and she loves the elephants!

New Baby, New Blog

Now that we have a new little one to add to the mix, it is not really fair to have a blog all about Ryleigh. So this new blog will be an update on what both little girls are up to.

What is Ryleigh up too?
-Enjoying her summer with different adventures visiting amusement parks (she loves the kiddy rides and ferris wheel)
-Loves to play in the water. She thinks she can swim!
-Sleeping in her toddler bed and quickly on her way to a big girl bed
